Humility as Servants
Bible Verse: James 4:10
"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up."
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to walk in humility and to serve You and others without seeking my own glory. May my actions always reflect the attitude of a servant. Amen.
Reflection:
Humility is one of the most important qualities for a leader or a member of the worship team. Our talents and abilities come from God, and we are entrusted with using them to glorify Him, not ourselves. True success in worship is not measured by how much praise we receive from people, but by our genuine service that lifts up the name of Christ.
When we humble ourselves, God gives us more opportunities to serve. A servant’s heart does not seek personal recognition but aims to lead people closer to God. Continue to humble yourself before God, and let Him raise you up in His time.
Action Steps:
- Reflect on whether your actions are aligned with the humility of a servant.
- Repent if there have been times when pride has taken over in your service.
- Remember that all success in worship comes from God, not from our own abilities.
